The Power of Words

      Words can do do so much for their speakers, and their listeners. They can change their hearts, slay the darkness of their souls, and show them the light. Those who speak these words are able to express their thoughts and emotions, and show what they stand for. Words can also be dangerous weapons, for the words that are chosen can have different effects and outcomes; hence, they should be chosen carefully. Although words can only reach a few people in contrast to all the people in the world, words have the power to provoke change, calm people, and inspire change.      The strength and meaning words have can cause people to take actions, and many used their voice to reach out to people and push them to take these actions. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was one to do so, in his “I Have a Dream” speech, where he says: “ I have a dream right here in Alabama that little black boys and little black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and litt...

  KENNEDY GIVES SPEECH, NEWS SHOCKS AUDIENCE   Indianapolis, Indiana   Robert F. Kennedy gives a speech that shocked the audience with news of Dr.Martin Luther Ki ng Jr.’s assassination on April 4 th 1968.     Robert F Kennedy came to Indianapolis today to deliver a presidential campaign speech, but instead he told the audience about the deppressing news regarding DR. King’s assassination.   "What we need in the United States is not division; what we need in the United States is not hatred; what we need in the United States is not violence or lawlessness, but is love and wisdom, and compassion toward one another, and a feeling of justice towards those who still suffer within our country, whether they be white or whether they be black."

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish has The Best Villains in Animated Film History

     The Story if Puss in Boots: The last Wish is a sequel to the original Puss in Boots, Taking place in the fictional land of Del Mar after a time-skip of sorts. it represents the outlaw that is Puss in Boots, and how little regard he had for his nine live, which in attempt to get back, encounters some of the  best villains in animated film history, the first of these is Goldilocks and the three bears, being based off of the fairy tale the characteristics of the four match those given descriptions; however these group are less of “evil group trying to get the hero” they aren’t one dimensional, meaning that they can feel complex emotions, have heart felt moments, and show genuine affection. Each one of these four have their own set of characteristics as well, and ones that correspond to their parts of the fairy tale. One other villain appearing in the movie is Big Jack Horner, who is based off of the nursery rhyme “Little Jack Horner”; however, he isn’t the good boy...

The Price that Comes With Dangerous Fun

   Fear is a natural emotion that people feel to protect them from danger, but there are people who ignore this feeling and preform dangerous stunts anyway, and as a result a rescue is necessary. Although these rescue attempts do save lives, they do as well come at a price, and the people that are meant to pay these prices are held completely unaccountable.    The stunts that are preformed are always going to be potentially dangerous and have the risk of death; however, professionals can subside the odds by a noticeable amount, but that does not mean that accidents don’t happen, and when these accidents do happen the price is extremely high. The US Park Navy on it’s own spends about 5 million dollars on rescue missions, and although this isn’t the case with some rescues, only costing about 1,000 dollars the people that had the money to afford these stunts should have to pay for some of these rescues, instead of damaging the environment, and potential tax payer dollar...
