Puss in Boots: The Last Wish has The Best Villains in Animated Film History

The Story if Puss in Boots: The last Wish is a sequel to the original Puss in Boots, Taking place in the fictional land of Del Mar after a time-skip of sorts. it represents the outlaw that is Puss in Boots, and how little regard he had for his nine live, which in attempt to get back, encounters some of the  best villains in animated film history, the first of these is Goldilocks and the three bears, being based off of the fairy tale the characteristics of the four match those given descriptions; however these group are less of “evil group trying to get the hero” they aren’t one dimensional, meaning that they can feel complex emotions, have heart felt moments, and show genuine affection. Each one of these four have their own set of characteristics as well, and ones that correspond to their parts of the fairy tale. One other villain appearing in the movie is Big Jack Horner, who is based off of the nursery rhyme “Little Jack Horner”; however, he isn’t the good boy the rhyme tells you he is, for his role in this film is to use the wish to obtain all the magic, and will stop at absolutely nothing to get that wish, and although he had grown up rich and had a pie factory enterprise to inherit, all he wanted was the al magic in the world.

Now the Third Villain in the story is by far the best and most dangerous in the film, for he is death, and unlike the two previous characters, he wasn’t going for the wish, he was going for Puss himself, because puss didn’t value the weight a life had, and tried taking has last to make him see the fault in his actions, and unlike other animated film villains, he didn’t have a depressing backstory to sympathize with, but rather a hatred to those who do not value lives is what drives him to do what he does, and the most creative aspect of Death, is that the character is a wolf, a common symbol for bad guys in stories and fairytales.

In the end the creativity and detail put into these characters are what proved it to be the better movie compared to Avatar: the Way of the Water
