Book Review - Demon Slayer Volume 15

      Demon slayer is a manga series that has been adapted into television. The original story of demon slayer being written by Writer Koyoharu Gotouge. This entry of a blog will summarize the events that occurred in volume 15 of Demon Slayer.

       The events that occur in volume 15 begin with a follow-up of the previous volume, showing the setting of the current ongoing scenario in the swordsmith village. The protagonist named Tanjirou Kamado monologues about having to defeat the man-eating demon alongside his sister who is a demon however she does not humans, and his comrade named Genya Shinazugawa, after some time the demon attempts to flee again to regain energy from eating humans but is stopped by Tanjirou who cuts off the demon’s head, the only way for them to be killed other than sunlight, however that didn’t stop the demon as his true form was hidden in the larger body’s heart! Tanjirou notices this with his supreme sense of smell and attempts to come at the demon again, that is when the sunlight peeks through the horizon instantly his sister who had reached him ablaze, Tanjirou, now perplexed does not know what to do, his sword had gotten stuck in the demon larger body and has no weapon, and that is when, the mist pillar, Tokito Muichiro, one of the strongest demon slayers of the highest rank throws a sword that was getting sharpened by a swordsmith, this angering him yells at Tanjirou not to use it, but Tanjirou picks it up anyway, but how would he fight? his sister is still in danger. Tanjirou’s sister Nezuko kicks him into the air sacrificing herself with a smile on her withering face. Tanjirou does not waste a second, he uses this opportunity to go straight for the demon’s real body killing it, but at what cost? his sister died before his eyes and the whole purpose of why he even joined the Demon slayers now gone, what was he to do? the boys thank him for saving their lives, and beckon him to look back, and he sees that Nezuko is alive and walking in the sun! though she still looks like a demon, she’s alive. Tanjirou never happier embraces his sister claiming how glad he is that she is alive, then he passes out and i knocked unconscious, Ending the first chapter.
